Affiliate networks are a large collection of individual affiliate programs run by various businesses. Payouts can be through CPS and CPA, and occasionally CPC and CPM. Targetted ads can be chosen to match a certain website's demographics and often provide much more revenue than traditional ad networks can. Joining several affiliate networks is often beneficial to compare payouts, offer requirements, and different types of offers available.
